CONNOLLY, Daniel Vincent (Dan)
of Yeppoon formerly of Keppel Sands passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on the morning of Thursday 2nd September 2021 after losing his battle with Mesothelioma Asbestos lung cancer.
Aged 76 Years.
He was a Vietnam Veteran, a former SES Volunteer, a Rotarian for 35 Years, a life member of the Emu Park RSL and was a manager for a lot of years at the Rockhampton Department of Housing until he retired in 2004.
Daniel is survived by his former Wife Robyn Connolly, Son Sean Connolly, Daughter Deborah Connolly.
Grandchildren Stacey, Shana, Caleb, Natalia, Ainsley and Michael.
Great Grandchildren Kaden, Jazzlyn, Scarlett, Lucas (dec’d), Rubie and Avarah. Brothers John, Ernie, Clem and Sister Patricia plus many nieces and nephews.
He was loving, caring, compassionate, brave, fun loving and a gentleman, but also a battler and never gave up or gave in.
Relatives, Family and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Graveside Service for Dan to be held at the Emu Park Cemetery, Saturday 11th September 2021 commencing at 11am.
As per Daniel’s request, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Emu Park RSL.
